Unfortunately Ambassador Ford was unable to host
the reception due to a medical emergency but Pilar de Ford, despite personal
difficulty, stood in his stead. We wish Ambassador Ford a swift and
complete recovery and thank Pilar for keeping the door of the Panamanian
Embassy open to the many visitors participating in
Panama Week 2000.
