 FRIENDSHIP AWARD '07
PANAMA PORTS 

The U.S.-Panama Business Council presented a Friendship Award to Panama Ports Company, during its annual Gala Dinner at the Halls of Flag of the Organization of American States Building in Washington, DC.
 
The award is presented to corporations and individuals that have made significant contributions 
to the U.S-Panama relationship. Panama Ports Company which operates the ports of Balboa in the Pacific and Cristobal in the Atlantic, is  commemorating  its 10 years anniversary and have developed a significant 
transhipment business that has been instrumental in making Panama a maritime hub in the Western Hemisphere.
 
Alejandro Kouruklis, General Manager of Panama Ports, received the award and praised the workers of Panama Ports as an example of a committed labour force working to promote the relationship between Panama and  ports around the world.
 
Panama Ports Company is part of the family of Hutchison Ports with operation in 23 countries in 45 ports.

USPA & MANTECH INTERNATIONAL CO-HOST  LUNCHEON 
IN HONOR OF PRESIDENT OF PANAMA  MARTIN TORRIJOS ESPINO 
to promote the approval of the Free Trade Agreement between the U.S. and Panama, and to provide details pertaining to the expansion of the Panama Canal. The event took place at the U.S. Chamber in Washington, DC on Thursday, Feb. 15th. and was well attended by
