“SAY
GOODNIGHT GRACIE”
Former
USPA Chairman Michael Barnes is one of the investors
in this new play that has just hit Broadway.
"Say Goodnight Gracie," stars the one guy
on the planet you could count on to play a
convincing George Burns: Frank Gorshin. The script
was written by Rupert Holmes, author of the Broadway
musical "The Mystery of Edwin Drood."
Holmes has slyly written a play about Burns that
isn't really about Burns, at least for the most
part. It's about Burns' love for his wife and comic
partner, the inimitably nutsy Gracie Allen.
The play has received excellent reviews.Immediately
after the play USPA held a reception at Sardi's, the
famous restaurant frequented by the stars.
Frank Gorshin (playing George Burns) join the group
at the reception.
